These Maine music-makers should be on your radar in 2022
Imagine Rickie Lee Jones recording with Norah Jones and Natalie Merchant and you’ll have an idea of how Elwell’s music sounds. The Augusta area artist’s EP “The Last of What I Know” is one of the records I listened to most in 2021, thanks in no small part to her addictive song “Sisters on the J Train.” It was nominated for a John Lennon songwriting award this year and is fully deserving of the big prize.
